Words do mater in the Democratic Nomination Race for 2008

And words should be, in a sane world, an invitation for debate, compromise, insight, or understanding with outcomes that results, 99 % of the time, in circumventing violence.
Whether in marriages, personnel relationships, clubs, organizations of any creed or philosophies, Religion, political parties, neighborhoods, word powers, third world countries, races, sexual orientations, etc., etc. and on the list runs, words are better than silence.
But ignoring words, out right, at the first syllable, without discussions, without validation, and from taking a stance that knowing I am right and you are just wrong, leads to disasters where the self-righteous lash out, at their opposition with War, terrorism, domestic violence, hunger, poverty, incarceration of more minorities than the general population, etc., at it’s extremes.
So are worried about Rev. Wright’s words because his actions may result in what ?
Is it because we see words as always resulting in violence, oppression, or what?
Like words from;
When Al Qaeda speaks, its’ words often lead to violence?
When US polices speak they often lead to War?
When Israelis policies speak it often leads to retaliations?
When Hamas speaks its’ words turn into violence?
When Russian policies speak it often leads to violence?
When Chinese policies speak they often lead to violence?

Just add you own.

Now then, Obama is telling me that we need to Change this with a place at the table for every idea, every race, every religion, every country, EVERYONE, as to hear their words, in order to start the debate.

You tell me?

Sometimes words change us all, for the better.

Like Gov Wallace's, “Standing at the School Door” speech, should we have removed Alabama from the Union?

Or with Joe McCarthy words "...leopards cannot change their spots..." should we all have denounced our US citizen ship?

Or when cable news media talking heads cry fire in their crowded TV theaters, 24x7, should we take all cable news offline like some countries?

Or Should I have left my Catholic Faith for the sins of a few?

See Obama is telling me that we need to Change this country to a place where there is room at the table for every idea, every race, every religion, every country, EVERYONE, as to hear their words, in order to start the debate. And is the President who will do just that.
